Leadership & Governance
MDExperts is built on a single guiding principle: medical judgment must guide medico-legal engagement. Our leadership and governance are intentionally physician-led to ensure that clinical integrity, objectivity, and professional accountability remain central to every case we review.
This model allows MDExperts to function as a clinical partner rather than a transactional service—aligning medical expertise with litigation realities without reliance on volume-based or open-access marketplace models.
Our structure is designed to ensure that medical analysis and expert engagement decisions are deliberate, appropriate, and defensible.
Every Initial Case Review for Merit is conducted with physician oversight. Early evaluation is not delegated to administrative staff or automated processes. A physician reviews the clinical records to ensure that the underlying theory of the case is grounded in medical reality before significant resources are committed.
MDExperts does not provide public access to expert rosters. Expert engagement is case-specific and occurs only after preliminary medical assessment confirms that expert involvement is appropriate for the current stage of litigation.
Our governance model maintains a defined boundary between preliminary medical screening and active expert testimony. This separation protects expert independence and preserves the credibility of clinical opinions offered in deposition or trial settings.

Under the MDExperts governance model, experts are engaged only after appropriate review and confirmation of suitability. Vetting considerations include:
These standards support credible, litigation-ready expert engagement.
MDExperts maintains independence from outcome-based incentives and placement-driven models. Medical judgment is applied without financial motivation tied to expert selection or testimony.
Most engagements begin with an Initial Case Review for Merit, providing early clinical perspective before expert involvement. This approach reflects MDExperts' commitment to disciplined medical judgment and professional governance.
